Understanding the fear of the Lord “docx”

Understanding the fear of the Lord

Responses

  1. Yes John,

Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. If we are really dead to “present things” in this earth, and have renounced it as our happiness, unmoved and unaffected towards it, ((then there is no need to continue in an on-going repentance life.)) Our true life lies in the other world: we are dead, and our life is hid with Christ in God, Col_3:3

    God bless you both,
    Linda

  2. Yes, God has changed our stony heart to one of flesh. I thank Him for the job I have. in which it allows me to study the scriptures, and the works of real men of God. It’s, thank God, a witnessing opportunity, where I can show myself approved, through the grace, and mercy, of the Lord Jesus. Since He has given us life, and that life more abundantly, I present the Gospel, and show that they don’t have to be in a perpetual repenting/defeated life. It’s wonderful to be free indeed.

  3. Greetings Linda

It all comes from the original sin lie that 90% of churches boldly teach today, they love to be called a filthy wretch after their so called conversion, which totally negates what repentance and a working faith through love produces in the heart!…. Peter, Paul, John, James, Jude never once called themselves evil sinners and wretches,,This is a complete contradiction to what the bible teaches.. Peter, Paul, John, Jude never once called themselves evil sinners and wretches,A true Christian cannot possibly be the Romans wretch..The has church completely misunderstand sanctification and equate it to be a lifetime of repentance..The testimony of the “worthy” in the NT disproves this fallacy.. The Reformed Protestant doctrine is upside down they all teach prayer before repentance which is the Gospel in reverse…Most all the denominations are built upon the Westmenster Confession of faith…..the church is so far gone that its not comprehensible…. They don’t understand that they can be righteous, or do that which is right, by a free will choice God has given, they can not discern between works of righteousness and dead works of the law. ,,..How can anyone that has even a form of conscience left in them continue to be linked to a gospel and church’s that has produced such wickedness as the fruit we see today in society?

I ran across a very telling quote in Proverbs 17 today..we all know we should not condemn anyone, especially the righteous, but it is equally an abomination to justify the wicked. They all hail the confussed Martin Luther.

15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

  4. Those in the system have been taught that nothing but Peace awaits them while they Walk according to the imagination of their own hearts, that they TRULY Believe No Evil will befall them for their sin. Why should they believe otherwise when they can blame God for their sin? He picks up all the pieces of our wretched selves.

Through the teaching of Penal Substitution (1500AD onward) Christ died taking on himself our sins/punishment, thereby allowing God to forgive us. This theory was from developed from the Satisfaction theory. Satisfaction (1100-1500AD) God’s honor was offended by our sin, therefore being infinitely honorable he had to inflict infinite punishment on us to preserve his honor. However through Christ’s perfect obedience to the point of death, God’s honor is restored, and (we no longer need to be punished.) ((The FEAR of God’s Judgment is Removed.))

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation 2Cor5:18

Man Must be Reconciled to God. (Not God to man)

Causes of Sin quote from Clement of Alexandria

Though men’s actions are ten thousand in number, there are only two sources of all sin: ignorance and inability. We ourselves are responsible for both of these. Either we will not learn, or we will not restrain our lust. If one doesn’t learn, he doesn’t make right decisions. If he doesn’t restrain his lust, he can’t comply with right judgments. So there are two remedies to sin. The first type of sin needs knowledge and clear proof from the testimony of the scriptures. The other type of sin needs the training that comes from the Logos. This training is regulated by the DISCIPLINE OF FAITH AND FEAR. ((Both disciplines develop into perfect love.)) The completeness of the one who is intimate with God is twofold: It is part contemplation and it is part ACTION.

Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth.

    Peace my brother,
    Linda
