The book of revelation is a symbolic/ signified book as said to be in verse 1.
The bible is many times literal and many places figurative..If the verse makes sense in the literal then let it be sense, lest it make no sense at all. If not then it has a metaphoric meaning attached to it. Most of Revelation is figurative language…I would also be careful leaning on Professor and Dean Dr. Ryrie’s theology, and
Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh???. This alone should ring bells of warning, and wave red flags..
Jesus did not have two wills. He was/is fully God and fully man in ONE PERSON..Its impossible for one person to have two wills…..He was the seed of the women (Son of man), who took on the nature and flesh of man, while humbling Himself before God the Father. In doing so He submitted himself to the will of of the Father. Not my will, but thy will, He said………….Bill

Can this be the same Dr Ryrie that he is referencing. something sounds way amis here if it is..maybe Im misunderstanding something, I hope so..Could I be mistaken him for John Charles Ryle..
Dr. Ryrie’s greatest academic contributions were probably in the area of systematic theology, specifically his works on dispensationalism and dispensational premillennialism. Dispensationalism is the belief that God has worked throughout human history in different ways in various divinely ordained eras. Dispensational premillennialism says that the end times will be characterized by the rapture of the church, the tribulation, the restoration of Israel to a place of preeminence, and the millennial kingdom. He is also wrong concerning the identity of the person in Gen 3-15.
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The seed of the women in Gen. 3-15 is the first prophecy in the text. It is a determined prophecy. Its speaking about Christ. It clearly says THOU shalt bruise his heal. This is in the singular identity, “thou” is used in the text other than for the purpose of describing an exact individual, also it says “his” heal, once again singular in this context. The new-age bibles removed all the thee, thy, thou, thine, thus weakens the text for a possible misidentification of the person. Mankind did not give Satan a deadly wound, it was Jesus (Col. 2) Christ having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. . He came at the appointed time said Paul and Luke for this purpose…..Bill

also Jesus wasn’t leading them around like this man claims, the bible actually says the exact opposite> see Luke 22-53,54, 23-7, 23-11, 22-66> John 18-13,14, 18-24, 18-31, 18-26, .……………Jesus himself being an open theist, asked the Father if His cup could be removed, hoping another way might be possible, Luke 22-42, Matthew 26-39 …Bill
