ANTINOMIANISM, a subset doctrine of Gnosticism>

which really equates to Monogism. The idea that; Jesus did it all, and if you do anything at all then you’re in danger of earning your salvation, therefore being in danger of losing your salvation, of which they say no one can lose anyway. Go figure? Therefore, leave your reasoning and your wallet with the usher upon entering and taking your seats in the House of Repeated Sanctification for those who are not perfect but just forgiven.

Antinomians believe in freedom from the obligation to obey the righteous law of God to be saved. Antinomianism comes from the Greek words “anti” against, and “nomos” law– “against law”. The apostle Jude warned against antinomianism, even in the 1st Century. I-4″For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness [uncontrolled lust], and denying the only LORD God, and our LORD Jesus Christ”.

Invented by the Gnostics that believed the flesh to be evil, the spirit good, and salvation to come by secret knowledge (gnosis) granted to initiates. It was considered a heretical doctrine by the early 2nd century church. However; those that departed from the Way “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” Romans 1:22

An antinomian is one who holds that under the gospel dispensation of grace; the moral law is of no use or obligation because a mere mental assent of belief was all that was necessary for salvation.  The tree of Antinomianism also had its branches grow into Luther’s “faith alone” premise, which is the foundational bedrock of Protestantism. Luther actually coined the term Antinomianism. Later developed  Puritanism went hand in hand with Antinomianism.

The confession of a modern day Antonmianist: The basic belief is that;Jesus overcame our sin, we became part of it through faith receiving His Grace ( unmerited favour) . Sin has been ABOLISHED by Jesus’ sacrifice.  Salvation dealt with our sin once and for all, therefore establishing the false doctrine of eternal security. This is the foundation for Moody’s false saying “the law can only pursue some on as far as the cross and no further”. So why does a born again believer still sin? Because of the sin in his flesh. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find notRomans 7-18. What is the consequence of this sin if any for a believer? There may be consequences in your life if you sin. Sin removes you from the presence of God, but because you are under grace, under the blood of Christ, your sins are already forgiven. It really saddens me when I see Christians who do not realize this and are still living under the law and not under grace, not knowing that we are now dead to the law. They still believe falsely that sin has dominion over them as in the old covenant. The new covenant made us free, believe it and live in the freedom Jesus obtained for us on the cross although we should grieve an worry over sin as we struggle to become sanctified, our spirit sins no more, but our flesh does, but we are covered by the blood because Jesus paid it all. Don’t worry; God is faithful, and will not allow you to be faithless.

Antinomianism claims that the Prodigal son, in Luke15:13 — while he was in the far land drunk and carousing in sin, never lost his salvation, because he was still a son.

Sadly too, much of Wesleyan theology, with an over spill of Lutheranism injected therein equated to Antinomian doctrine…. Wesley’s entire philosophy on gradual sanctification is seen in his inverse understanding of the parable of the mustard seed. He falsely believed that the leaven that was being hid by the woman into the 3 measures of meal (purity of the gospel), was a good thing, therefore inducing the idea of gradual sanctification by sinning less and less.

The problem with Wesley I found researching his Journal, many of his observations sadly contradicted his sermons, especially when it came to the Calvinist type teachers. Even in the case of George Whitefield, (100% TULIP) who constantly ridiculed Wesley’s teaching, yet Wesley held him in so high regard he proclaimed the man’s eulogy all over England when he died as one of the greatest saints who ever lived. at the end Wesley said of his own teachings that there was only a ‘hair breath’ of difference between him and Luther. I have to agree, knowing the many errors of Wesleyans’ and the legacy we are dealing with today…..Mike Desario

Calvinism and Wesley both taught that men can be saved in their sins, further developing a century later into more leaven known as Spurgeonism. The men who sought to please everyone that gave birth the coming great apostasy of the 20 th. Century with the likes of such false teachers as Billy Sunday and eventually  Billy Graham, the greatest Evangelist to ever come upon the world seen. Now being forwarded by the likes of Rick Warren.  These foolishly not knowing that gospel salvation is not freedom from the Moral Law, but rather it is freedom to obey the Moral Law through the power of grace dispensed by the Spirit of Grace Titus 2:11-14 to those that should believe form a pure heart cleansed from all guile in the baptism of repentance, not to be repented of “For not the hearers of the Law are just before God, but the doers of the Law shall be justified” Romans 2:13.

Without entire obedience to the Moral Law, there cannot be a gospel salvation. 1 John 4- 8 “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”.

The Righteous Law of God is not the Civil Law of Moses in the OT, nor is it the Ceremonial Law of worship of the Jews. But it is the unchanging requirement of supreme love for God, and an equal love for your neighbor as yourself. “37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind… 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” Matthew 22:37,39, and is once given to the saints by faith to gain the obedience to the Moral Law.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure” Philippians 2:13……This is the energising  influence of the Spirit working in the believer who is working out his own salvation with fear and trembling in verse 12. “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”. Thus we have the premise of love, (man working together with God) to achieve a relationship in love that cannot be obtained by any other means.

Modern Antinomianism, the soften love heresy, takes advantage of the ignorance within professing-Christianity concerning the true nature of our justification by faith proven by deeds that minister and worketh love.

This is done by stressing grace and faith apart from obedience to the Moral Law, while believing obedience to be a works based salvation.  Seeking to strip man of his ability they claim obedience is (earning your salvation).  However, the apostle Paul rebukes these sorts “What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the Law: for I had not known lust, except the Law had said, Thou shalt not covet” Romans 7:7.,,,

Romans 3-30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law…(faith establishes the law within the heart of the true believer)

When the 10 commandments, which expresses the substance of the Moral Law of God, becomes the symbol of a vilified, legalistic salvation, then antinomianism has succeeded in convincing so-called Evangelical Christianity to depart from the “faith which was once delivered unto the Saints”. May God grant you the wisdom to avoid the “profane babblings” of modern antinomianism, and make you “wise unto salvation” though obedience form a pure heart without guile. Being found “blameless in spirit, soul, and body” on the day of judgement.

In the book of Ephesians, Paul does not use the terms “to declare righteous” (dikaiein) or “righteousness” (dikaiosunê), unlike what is found in Galatians and Romans> meaning reconciled back to God through righteousness. Rather in this book he uses the unusual concept of being saved (sôthênai), so that, rather than saying that a person is declared righteous by grace through faith, the author writes that a person is saved  by grace through faith (Ephesians 2-8-9) therefore in harmonization, one being declared righteous before God equates to being saved. If one is unrighteous he is not saved. 1) righteous works and 2) faith are of the principle of synergy, the two cannot be separated. Therefore  repentance and faith is a work.

Abraham “believed” God, (faith), and it was reckoned to him as righteousness” (Romans 4). Abraham believed in the one true God, (Joshua 24-2).But if he had not obeyed Him through works his faith would have been a dead faith, thus making him unrighteous (unsaved)…James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

The double speak theology of Antinomianism “aka” Positional Righteous, which is double-speak, saying Struggle to become sinless; even though salvation is a done deal through the provision. Don’t worry; but worry and repent of your sins, even though you are now positionally sinless in Christ, but of course you will still sin. Therefore suggesting the sin-nature that still resides in your members is too great a mystery to comprehend.  So repent, even though it’s a done deal. Just worry but don’t worry??? (the repetitive sin repent gospel of roulette)

One of the biggest lies is that Jesus paid for your  sins, took your place in hell, thus craftily inducing the deception that we can indeed serve two masters at once.

Spirit and sin cannot exist at the same time in your body. Sin is transgression of the law,1 John 3:4. You are slaves to whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness and eternal life. God is not the master of those enslaved to sin.

A message to the false teachers of dualism;  2Peter 2, & Jude 1>>> reprobate teachers, even denying the Lord that purchased their souls, secretly bringing in damnable heresies beguiling unstable souls, (deceiving the gullible) and promoting the error of the wicked, turning Grace into lasciviousness, and following after the way of Cain in the gain say of Core.

Can the spirit of error abide together with the spirit of truth? Can there be unity based upon the spirit of error, or is this merely compromise under the guise of false unity? Truth divides by nature, and Unity must be founded on the Rock of truth.

God desires to be worshiped in Spirit and in Truth. There is only one Spirit of Truth, and only one Body of Christ. “Christianity”, the counterfeit, worships in emotion and tradition, not in Spirit and in truth.

There is a much greater percentile of the self-professed man made faith than there are true followers of Christ and His righteousness. The churches (modern day tare barns), have become social linkups for the continuance wants of the communities that she benefits from, following the freemason principle of the brotherhood of men.  But the gospel is about new life from heaven and destroying the works of the devil. Denominationalism is the institutionalization of every possible way of a carnal interpretation of scripture to provide comfort in the flesh, having been quite the exercise. But what has been the purpose? To make men feel comfortable as they already are by adopting the popular come as you are philosophy in their peace and safety world of endeavours..

In the “saved because I accepted Jesus model.” you have to get an emotional energy raising event. (Placing the emotions above sound reasoning).  These are clearly seen in the Billy Graham crusades. A refined follow up of Billy Sunday’s methods but to a much greater degree. Today in the Rick Warren Prosperity events and other Charismatic gatherings of folly this is the core of attraction (the churches bread and circus).

There have been many ways of doing this throughout history worldwide, with chanting, jungle drums, and Pentecostal slain in the spirit antics. Involving raising energy levels to the pineal gland releasing dopamine to activate an emotional high perceived to be spiritual enlightenment. Done by setting aside mediation upon the word and whole council of God. In that highly driven emotion now becomes the center of salvation through feelings.  Churchianity will go to any extreme today to activate this trance.

If our hearts are influenced by the world and are full of strife and anger then that’s something we need to seek the Lord on in repentance. Sometimes the world’s influence is so subtle it is easy to miss. It can affect our emotions and even what we perceive to be the Spirit’s leading, even with such heinous things as “Just Wars” being coddled and espoused . That’s why we stay in the Word and let the Spirit lead through the written word. Revelation 3 warns us to hold fast so that we will not be blotted from the book of life and so that no one will steal our crown.

Any doctrine that does not conform one to godliness is a doctrine of devils.  Sound doctrine comes from rightly dividing the whole council of Gods’ written word. Whereby all of the biblical testimony is taken into account, as opposed to various denominational creeds tactfully forced onto the gospel by using selected verses to build a false doctrine that supports whatever notion that is being promulgated.

Paul calls the Church to walk worthy of their calling being filled with all the fullness of God, One Spirit, One Faith, and One Body. This can only be accomplished in the loving unity of the Spirit, through meekness, humility, and long-suffering with gentleness and kindness towards all men, dispensing the gospel that establishes the law within the hearts of men.

We are to be “spotless and blameless” (perfect)  in spirit, soul, and body 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 2 Peter 3:14, in Colossians 1:21-23, Philip1:9-10 & 2:15, and Jude 21-24, John 8-29> in every case it is our continuous choice by (faith, patience, continuance}.

Can a person be a follower of sin but still be saved? He is a partaker of unrighteousness, and still considered righteous? Which is in opposition to John’s first letter, 3:5-10.John wrote his epistle as a warning against the increasing heresies of Gnosticism, of which Modern Day Antinomianism is a subset.

Hebrews 3-8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Verse 12 warns against brethren having an evil unbelieving heart that falls away from God; verse 13 admonishes everyone to encourage each other lest anyone of us become hardened by the deceitfulness of iniquity, (justifying sin). Verse 14 says we are metochos-partakers in Christ IF we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end,(faith, patience continuance).

James 1:14-16 MY BRETHREN”.Verse 16 “do not be deceived BELOVED BRETHREN”. The exact same thing that was written by Paul in in Hebrews 3 do not fall from salvation in the error of the wicked 2 Peter 3..It is no wonder, Martin Luther, the Reformation inventor of “faith alone” belittled the epistles of James and Hebrews. The obscured enigma of “Faith Alone” was the Magisterial Reformations foundation. A subtle signature of Antinomianism.

The truth is, Jesus Christ is our mercy seat for sin through the door of repentance, and our advocate with the Father “IF” we sin, not when we sin. Gen 3-22expresses that it is now man’s responsibility to take the first step in repentance. These and other very simple concepts are found in early Genesis.

Do the Lord’s words to Cain concerning accountability have any meaning for us today? I should say yes!  ALL verses need to be rightly divided and harmonised together instead of just trying to ignore or explain away the ones that don’t fit into the doctrines of confusion (old wine) that men build upon.

Nothing can separate us (make us “apart”) from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:38. This love is not simply some kind of general benevolence for all mankind, expressed in John 3-16. But it is a love that’s found “IN” Christ Jesus and nothing can separate us from that love “IF” we remain in covenant with Him. Jesus said we are set free by truth John 8:33. When we become born of God through repentance, He regenerates us (gives us a new heart) and becomes our new Master and our old ways  of being servants of sin have passed away, and we now are servants of righteousness following in the way of the So…..  “the  servant of sin abideth not in Gods house forever but the Son and His followers abideth forever” Paraphrase, John 8-35

Paul told us in Romans 11 about the goodness and severity of God. To those who fell, came His wrath and are cut off, and to those that CONTINUE in His goodness are “All Israel”.  However, the unbelieving Jews, if they should repent from their unbelief, shall be grafted in again by the grace of God. God will never forsake those who repent Psalms 51-17

The false belief of ANTINOMIANISM, woven into almost all of Christianity, believes the lie of dark- light. Thinking darkness and light can co-exist in the realm of salvation. Foolishly perceiving the OT saints walked in the dominion of sin, (unjustly placing mud upon their character) making such foolish claims as to Paul being the Romans wretch and chief of sinners..

Scripture says we must walk in the newness of life in the Spirit, continuing in the faith unto good works.. Eph. 4:22-24, 1 John1:8-9, Romans 6:12-23.“The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, the beginning of faith unto the end of faith,” the just shall live BY faith.” “for Christ is the author and finisher of our faith”.

1) Does God PRESERVE us? Or, 2) are we charged with perseverance through faith, patience, continuance unto good works through the working of the Spirit in us, and he that endures to the end the same shall be saved? The scriptures say #2 is correct the correct method of preservation through perseverance..Philippians 2:12,13.

Salvation is by God only. A gift of past sins forgiven, received through repentance and faith (active conscious choice by man through a divinely endowed reasoning ability bestowed upon him, Isaiah 1-18 john 1-9).

The so-called “Gifted faith” is the opposite of voluntary faith, specifically Hebrrews11:6 and Matt7:14 Lev. 1-3.  Salvation is action continuance, but the action is induced by grace through faith, receiving the love of the truth which begins a holy communion between two beings that could otherwise not be obtained through any other means. This is God’s brilliant plan that was predestined for His elect! Not the elect themselves predestined.

Antinomians say that those who fall away outside of this special luxury of OSAS are labelled as never being saved in the first place. The bedrock for that assumption is Calvin’s’ wicked seed of predestination by selection. Even the great works preacher of freewill, Charles Finney, fell into the deception of predestination, thus underlining the real truth, that being; you can indeed fall away from the faith…Both Spurgeon and Finney added to the confusion in the 19th century even though they appeared to oppose each other..

Today they teach that under Penal Substitution all sins are forgiven. Perceiving it does not matter if you sin or not, it has no consequence because the price has already been paid. Therefore Christians can now live in sin and still saved because of grace.  The problem is that there’s a lot of various terminology being dispensed within the Evangelical-Subculture, having different understandings of these terms, and all of them wrong, because they have the sinner saved and secure in his sins at the time of atonement.

Salvation is being “in Christ”, and “Christ being in you”. The Antinomian position portends that we can be “carnal/backsliding”, which means walking in sin; not held to rules of morality and still be saved. Calvinist, John McCarther, is one who teaches this ungodly doctrine, (carnal-Christian), while cleverly inventing the illusion of losing rewards in heaven for disobedient carnal Christians. Not understanding that there is no such thing as “rewards” in heaven. The common salvation of ALL MEN unto eternal life is the reward. Jude1-3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  But sin and the Spirit cannot indwell the same body. However, the power of the cross is to destroy sin, not to hide in iniquity and minister sin management programs. A carnal-Christian abandons God, hiding his face from Him, in order to walk in his sin similar to a rebellious child that would steal his father’s matches and then hide away from where he thinks his father can see him in order to play with a dangerous fire that could set the entire house ablaze? Likewise, the whole house of Churchianity has been set ablaze by the strange fire of Antinomianism

Gnosticism, which denies the reality of the “word”, therefore denies the reality of sin, thinking the soul can be saved while the flesh remains corrupt within a mysterious Adamic-Nature. But I should raise the question. Why did Cornelius not have this sin-nature dwelling in him? There are no exceptions for 1Cor.6:9-11, Eph.5:5-6, Galatians 5:19-21, and 1John 3:5-10.

OSAS proponents and carnal-Christian advocates say it’s a “continuous struggle”. But they are double-mind in thinking salvation is not an issue while residing in that lost condition. Also, if that were true, then we would no longer need an advocate in Jesus if future sins were automatically cleansed. The truth is: Gods people are no more “absolved” from righteousness under the New Covenant, than they were under the old covenant. Put on Christ; we are empowered by grace against sin through the indwelling presence of Jesus via the Holy Spirit. By the SPIRIT we put to death the flesh in Romans 8:14, and by the Spirit we guard the treasure of eternal life in 2Tim1:12-14.

The problem is, when one thinks it is okay to walk in sin and believe he/she is still saved. For instance, when someone says that “the Prodigal never ceased being the father’s son” (meaning he represented a person who stayed saved even through his rebellion). What shall we tell people then, that they can get drunk and fornicate and do all the things that unsaved people do?

Nay, may God forbid! That was what the Prodigal was doing in the pig pin of iniquity. So when Jesus recounted that the Prodigal was lost but now found, was dead but now alive again, how is Jesus not completely teaching “regaining the salvation he once had”?

There is no future in rebellion and sin. If you look at this event through the parable of the prodigal son then you will see that the father did not allow his son to have his inheritance in order that he might be saved, but rather knowing that he needed to find out for himself what life without the family might bring. The son returned to the father of his own merit. He was therefore dead until he came to his senses, repented, and became alive again.

The advocates for sin make such foolish arguments as this

My salvation is therefore secure in Christ and not even sin can steal my salvation from HIM. I am not under the law anymore, but under grace. If we are not under the law anymore then we are not under the condemnation of the law which is death. (dead to the law). You cannot sin anymore, because in order to sin you must transgress the law and you are now under grace and not under the law. We know this by feelings from the Spirit…..{“spiritual feelings” do not trump inspired scripture revealed by the Spirit of Truth}. There is a large cult called Mormonism  that  also has some spiritual feelings called “Burning of the Bosom” . Sounds good?  Well it’s supposed to. It was invented by the angel of dark light that visited Joseph Smith’s imagination. However God is just and fair; perfect honor, perfect love, and He cannot be deceived by flesh burning bosoms full of guile.

Reconciliation back to God’s favour is a true cleansing to the most inner part of our being.2 Cor.7-11 . We become righteous by forsaking sin and following Christ.  Antinomianism claims we are made POSITIONALLY righteous regardless of our sins. But scripture says we are to BE righteous. “Be perfect even as He is perfect”, Matthew 5:48. BELIEVERS are “in Christ” and we are to examine ourselves daily to see if we be in the faith Christ2 Cor.13:5 we can also “know ourselves by our own fruits”,Galatians 5:19-26. Once again; to be saved is to be accounted righteous by our own righteous works..

Psalm 7-8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.    Psalm 18-20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.    Ezekiel 1-14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their own righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

2 Corinthians 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

These are the type of verses that are very difficult for Christians to reconcile, and are mostly passed over and never addressed because they frighten the false teachers for fear of not having any followers, while being taught that they are seeking to please God by their own righteousness, therefore falling from grace. That is simply not true when obeying from a heart of sincerity.  It was God that supplied the wisdom, instruction, and grace, but it was Noah that built the ark, (man working together with God). Noah wasn’t afraid he was going to do too much work. The empowering influence of the Spirit (grace), comes from God, but man is the doer. This is what the early church fathers taught. Pelagius being the last known hold out in the public annuls of history to understand this. There are many of these types of verses in both the OT & NT. They must be considered blasphemous to most, both in and out of the system.

Jesus said he who commits sin is a salve to sin and the Son makes men free from sin. Paul affirms the relationship between sin and salvation in Romans 6— Either we have died to sin and are alive to God through Christ, or we are dead to Christ and alive to sin.

So everything about salvation forbids us to have communion with sin. Indeed, the very word “fellowship”, for what communion hath righteousness with unrighteousness, what fellowship hath light with darkness?  Jesus has ALREADY overcome from the Cross and has attained the victory. His victory becomes our victory through faith and obedience which is imputed to us as righteousness. (For we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus)

Knowing this first; 1)that sin and the Spirit cannot indwell the same body. 2)But we also know that He will never abandon us. How do we harmonize the two?  Therefore, iniquity can only abound when we have abandoned Him for the purpose of walking in sin. You see; God is true and faithful to His covenant, but it is man that hides his face from God.  There are two results of faith: 1)dead faith 2)active faith.

Scripture says sin brings death, and sin is unbelief. The essence of salvation is “Christ-in-us”.  His grace, His incredible sacrifice received by our fully conscious and voluntary faith. Faith is the very conduit in which flows the energetic power of grace. Grace received not just once, but every moment of every day flowing through the conduit of active faith. It is a communing fellowship of continuance, that, as with all relationships, requires devotion from both participants, (we are workers together with God). He indwells us because of faithfulness; and faith is what keeps us in Him. Hence, warnings such as 2 Cor. 13:5 and 2 Peter1:5-11. Therefore lay asidethe old sinful corrupt man, putting on the new righteous man, while being renewed in the spirit of your mind Eph. 4:22-24.. You do this continuously.  (Faith, patience, continuance “ie” the called, chosen, and faithful)  “Continued obedience” is interchangeable with “belief’” Hebrews 3:18-19, 4:11.

The substance of Grace is the empowered energy from God dispensed by the Holy Spirit to live godly lives. Once again; flowing though the conduit of active faith. Grace is not unmerited favour.  However, His mercy and forgiveness of past sins upon repented sinners is indeed unmerited favour.

The faith/believing which receives the love of the truth is ours 2 Peter 1:9…. It’s all about ABIDING IN CHRIST, because the servant of sin is cast out John 8-34, 35.One cannot be cast out and still saved at the same time. Therefore, the flesh must then be turned over to Satan for a season that the soul might be saved, as was the case with Demas.

Those living in sin are under the bond woman Hagar, but the children of grace are of the free woman Sarah. Paul uses this allegory to make it quite clear that unbelief (sin) cannot abide in the house of the free woman. Galatians 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman,(children of sin) but of the free. Actually, the depth of the issue is that sin has no more dominion over those who walk not after the flesh, but walk “in” the Spirit, being overcomers because of His strength which abides in and through us, all in all. ( I can do all things in Christ Jesus who strengthens me). That influence of strength flows through the conduit of faith, the connection between man and God.

Galatians 5 1Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,[a] and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. {These are free from the bondage of sin} 18- But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. {If you are not following the spirit, you are under the law of the bond woman Hagar.}

Faith is our steadfast diligent choice to obey in Hebrews11:6, in 1Peter1:9. All throughout the NT we find “faith-to-salvation” is expressed. “Faith” is not a special prevenient gift of God? It’s not in Philip1:29, not in 2Tim2:25, not in Eph2:8.  Faith is the activation of our reason that God has programed into every living soul when he/she was carefully knitted together in the womb, a matter of important necessity, in that we should be able to diligently seek Him in righteousness.  God has fearfully instilled instructions into every child, that if they should become lost, a map to find his/her way back home is woven into the very fabric of  his/her being . The Prodigal Child, “by reason”, found his way back to the father, who was waiting with outstretched arms. The instructions are first typed into the text in Genesis 3-22.

Those who seek”,  diligently seek, same as Matthew7:14, few are those who find the road to salvation by SEEKING. “Seeking is an ongoing affair in fellowship with God”  Scripture warns us not to harden our hearts, and to be fearful lest sin harden us to unbelief, the heart that falls away from God . As long as we walk in Christ, we walk not in sin; if we walk back into the bonds of sin, we walk out of Christ, and we know there is no salvation outside of Christ!

Gen 3-22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand,{man is instructed by God to take the first step in seeking Him in repentance} and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Nowadays “lost” has been glazed over by the minds of foolish men to mean simply a lesser reward in heaven. John McCarther teaches this lie also. Only the minds of devious men that frame the law in mischief could come up with such stupid doctrines. Loss means a removal of what you already have, and the only reward is salvation itself, thus salvation becomes lost to the sinner. (as Jude said; “for the common salvation”). Loss is the active opposite of a reward, not a neutral position that means less than a full reward.  The scriptures must be applied through spiritual reasoning not carnal reasoning.

The idea of “backslidden-but-saved” and “carnal-Christian” has been asserted many times, however growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ is not backsliding down a slippery slope. In fact ; it’s the exact opposite. Therefore, the 21st century Christian openly proclaims they are saved in iniquity by grace, the Romans Wretch, and the Chief of sinners.  How can that be?  As the world sinks deeper into the darkness of the abyss, the next step is Universalism and everyone is saved. It’s growing each day, the Oprah way!!!

The application of the word, “Antinomianism” to this discussion is the other way to view the Christian Position. It reflects on those who think they can live in Romans chapter 7, that God will somehow overlook their sin because of a magical covering. But sin which happens over and over is not consistent with the idea of a godly “repentance” not to be regretted of.  And Hebrews 12:2says let us run the race with endurance laying aside the sin which so easily befalls us connecting to 1Cor. 9:25-27 >race so as to win the immortal crown of victory. Thus, Paul, knowing even himself could possibly become a “castaway”.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. {Now we see the reason why we still battle with temptation dead to sin”, it is a constant due diligence}What prevails in our lives is of that we love most, sin, or Godliness. Romans 7, was Paul in his former condition before conversion. We as Christians, waking in the Spirit, are not supposed to live in Romans 7, but rather in chapter 8.

The apostle John teaches that keeping Jesus’ commandments is evidence of the fruit of our salvation; we walk in righteousness because we are saved. It’s the same message in James 2;there is no such thing as a saving faith that produces no good deeds.  Also in 2 Peter 1:5-11. Being diligent to make our salvation steadfast results in our having good fruit, and the fruit we exhibit is the proof of our salvation, as we are fruitful we will not become barren, or become wretched”. Therefore I ask; how can a Christian be a wretched sinner, whose land is a barren waste? It makes no logical sense. I say this because many will align Antinomianism to 2 Pet 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.Antinomians assert the idea of an entrance to the righteous, and an entrance to the iniquitous. That’s why this issue is so important. There are not two entrances; it is “abundant” unto righteousness, or not at all.

The same fire either consumes or it refines. As was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were refined in the faith, yet it was in the same fiery furnace that Nebuchadnezzar’s servants were consumed.

In times of tribulation we get refined to a deeper relationship with the Lord as He walks through the fire with us like He did with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. In that, better works come forth from therein. But how can the consumed dead works of wood/hay/stubble be equated with being refined and being saved in the fire of tribulation?  It says“each man builds gold/silver/stones or wood/hay/straw, each man’s WORK” The same principle applies with the Rock. One is either broken upon the Rock or ground asunder by it. Throughout scripture we’re taught that we can know people by their fruit (works) — Jesus said in Matthew 7 that no good tree produces bad fruit; no bad tree produces good fruit. What kind ofworks therefore would be compared to “wood hay and stubble” subjected to a fire and consumed? Certainly not the works of godliness described in Titus 2:12-14.

The foolish argument of paradox is“If a person falls into perdition then he was never really saved in the first place; because true faith will always survive the fire of trials“.However  this conflicts with verses like James1:12 WHEN we have passed the test (trials of the furnace) then we will receive the Crown of Life (eternal life!) which the Lord hath promised to those that love Him.

In Hebrews 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

We have become (past-tense!) partners in God’s discipline, but if we are now without (present-tense), then we are no longer sons but have become illegitimate. Shall we not continue and live?

The New Testament is God’s grace, through our faith of which we are imputed as righteous.: Jude 1-20-21>>> 1) Building yourselves up in holy faith and  2) Keep yourselves in the love of God. It’s the same as Revelation 3:5-12>>> he that overcomes WILL NOT BE BLOTTED OUT, take care lest someone STEALS YOUR CROWN.

God called His children to service in the OT… Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Samuel, Hannah, etc. and they all answered “here am I’

Genesis 46:2 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.   When God calls today the people do not respond with “here am I”, for they cast away not their false gods who stand between themselves and the Lord……There is not one account in the bible where Joseph disobeyed God, no not one account is given in scripture where he sinned against God…He remained faithful to God during hardship, poverty, as well as in wealth and renown. He could have easily taken over Egypt and become Pharaoh, but he remained steadfast unto faithfulness to his commission fulfilling God’s will for the prosper of the Hebrew children, and to also feed the rest of the world in times of great famine. Joseph, truly an esteemed forefather of times past in the bible.   Do we, like Joseph, answer “here am I”, when the Lord calls upon us to serve him?

Deut. 11- 16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; 17 And then the LORD’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, {resist the Holy Spirit} and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you. 18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. {Marked by God unto righteousness in your thoughts and deeds} 19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.2 2 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; 23 Thenwill the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. {greater is He that is you than He that is in the world}   24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. {Walk in the ways of the Lord and the land shall be yours} 25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. {the whole world fears the righteous man of God} 26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; {The blessings of  God are righteous communion with Him, the curses are separation from His grace to those who hide their faces from the Lord.. It’s man that separates himself from God and hides his face from Him} 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: {Obey God and enjoy the riches of His blessings while storing up many treasures in the kingdom} 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. { The cursed separate themselves and follow other gods. Right now all of America is worshiping the “god of graduation” and worldly achievement, seeking blessings from freemasonic gods who can neither speak, hear, nor move, in hopes of providing abundance for their future untoward generations} 29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal. {The Samarians worshiped 5 gods on Mt. Gerizim, the home of Simon the Sorcerer. Now there are a plethora of little Simons running blindly to & fro amongst the congregations} 30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? 31 For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein. 32 And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

May the Lord bless you richly, Bill

  1. The breadth of your legalistic delusion is breathtaking.

    • Joh_14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh_14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Joh_15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

      all good

    • legalism is applying the laws of Moses to salvation and the Christian faith, of which was done away with by Christ… However, the moral law of God, (the commandments of God), were NEVER done away with, its known as (the Law of the Spirit) in the new testament/covenant. “Faith” (faithfulness to God), establishes this law within the heart of the believer (Romans 3-31)….be blessed always, Bill

  2. They have taught wrong doctrines but most have chosen to believe those wrong doctrines instead of finding out the truth for themselves. This has been the greatest problem.
    Thanks Bill

  3. Lenard Ravenhill once quoted that if Jesus taught what todays evangelists are teaching, then he wouldn’t have been crucified.
